Deisy Mancia and her two children William and Alexander sub-rent a room in a relative’s small apartment. The family is restricted to using only the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom that they rent, yet they have remained optimistic. Deisy and her two boys are excited to be a part of the Jimmy Carter Work Project, and are eager to move into their new home in San Pedro. Deisy wants a better living environment to raise her boys in, and has worked very hard to help build them a home that is conducive to their physical and emotional development.
